This is our eighth installment of our 9-part series investigating the eighth attribute of the Fruit of God’s Holy Spirit – gentleness (Galatians 5:22-23). We all long to experience God’s calming gentleness, but the big question is: What does God’s gentleness mean to us as we live out our daily lives? What does God’s gentleness truly look like? Can anyone be filled with God’s perfect fruit of gentleness?
It is our prayer that you be Spirit-filled and blessed by what you will discover on this unique edition of Alive in Christ Radio LIVE.
During these two hours, we will learn how God’s perfect love and faithfulness can help us walk hand-in-hand with God—leading us through this life into a life of total victory, in all things, through His anointing, discernment, and great comfort.
Special Guest: Greg Baker, Christian Author and Pastor
We round out our program with features including Joyce Meyer’s “Everyday Moments”, Dr. James Dobson’s “Family Talk”, Focus on the Family’s “Plugged-In Movie Review” and “Family Minute”, Beth Moore’s “A Quick Word”, Luis Palau’s “Reaching Your World”, and Dave Ramsey’s “Daily Money Makeover.”

“The harvest is great, but the workers are few.” Matthew 9:37
Alive in Christ Radio LIVE || In-Studio Guest: Greg Baker
Greg S. Baker was raised in church all his life, and came to accept Jesus as his Saviour. He attended Hyles-Anderson College, graduating with a Bachelors’ degree in Pastoral Theology.
His writing passion pervades nearly every aspect of his life. As a child, he was an avid reader that fell in love with words and their ability to stir the imagination and convey ideas. While in High School, he attempted and completed his first novel only to see it rejected. Despite this setback, he turned his writing skills towards more productive means. It became a tool by which he conveyed his passion for his God and Saviour to the world around him. As a pastor, he uses his love for writing to bring to others his nearly twenty years of experience in the ministry, counseling marriages, and healing relationships.
Fitly Spoken is his first published work.
He is married to the love of his life, Liberty and has four incredible boys whom alternately remind him of the excitement of youth and the inevitability of the passage of time. He loves to play sports, chess, and tinker around with computers. Other than pastoring, his other duties include marriage counselor, chaplain for the sheriff’s office, and editor for the Christian Family Quarterly newspaper.
“Life is relationships,” he once explained. “It’s not your things, your possessions, or your money that make life valuable and important. It is your relationships. It is why I do what I do.”

Title: Fitly Spoken: Developing Effective Communication and Social Skills
Description: The bedrock of all relationships is communication; yet, the ability to communicate isn’t intrinsic to our natures. We must learn to do it. This book takes a look at the many methods and techniques which can be learned and developed to help build your relationships within the many different spheres of your life. From marriage to business, the principles taught in this book can help you achieve stronger relationships through the use of effective communication skills. Developed from Biblical principles and extensively tested, Fitly Spoken will give you the tools you need to become an effective and dynamic communicator. Have you ever said something you didn’t mean? Have you ever struggled to express your feelings? Have you ever said something you later regretted? Have you ever acted on misunderstanding and either been hurt or hurt someone else? Do you find yourself arguing endlessly with neither giving in nor anything getting accomplished? Have you tried to correct someone in sincerity only to have them be offended? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then this book is for you. Learn to express yourself in ways that others understand and can relate to. Learn to avoid the dangers of misunderstandings and cut through tangled emotions to discern what is really trying to be said. Use trigger words and phrases to promote positive reactions to negative situations. Establish good communication lines with those around you, and forge stronger and more meaningful relationships. Learn what to say, how to say it, and when to say it. Written for the average person or the business professional, Fitly Spoken is your guide to developing strong communication and social skills in any environment or circumstance. Life is relationships-and communication is how we explore the depth and breadth of that relationship. This book will give you the tools to effectively communicate with everyone in your life.
