Sam Medina grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he preached his first sermon at the age of 6, and soon demonstrated a gift for art, winning his first contest the same year. He went on to study history at Princeton, and then served in the United States Marine Corps before entering the world of finance at a stockbroker in 2002. In 2004, he launched a business consulting firm which has trained sales professionals and business leaders throughout the U.S. and Canada, and in 2009, he returned to art with the launch of the runaway hit webcomic, Jake the Evil Hare, which chronicles the adventures of a very bad rabbit trying really hard to be good. In 2011, he launched another critically acclaimed webcomic, Darkfell: The Fetters of Wizardry, a science-fiction and fantasy tale about a half-elven prophet who is caught in an ancient conflict between magic and technology. This webcomic gave rise to his novel, Katarina the Dragonslayer and the Foebreaker’s Curse, which critics are now comparing to The Lord of the Rings.His upcoming business strategy book, The Million Dollar Hustle, will be released in January 2014.
Over the years, Sam has also been involved in ministry as a teach, worship leader, and elder, and he is presently the Chairman of The Restoration Group, a teaching ministry which focuses on training emerging leaders. He is the author of the best-selling book, 7 Keys to Prophetic Maturity, and has taught on the prophetic since 1999.
