About: Linda Wood Rondeau

Linda Wood Rondeau“Marriage and family are God’s most important institutions and why Satan fights so hard against them,” says Linda Wood Rondeau, and why she wrote Days of Vines and Roses/Helping Hands Press, a story of a broken marriage. When the estranged couple experience hope of reconciliation, they are besieged by inexplicable evil forces that their lack of faith and spiritual depth cannot define.

“According to C.S. Lewis,” Rondeau states, “Satan’s most powerful weapon is to convince the world he does not exist. More than in years past, Christians are ignoring his influence in their lives. Consequently, their witness in a hurting world is diminished. We do not resist that which we do not believe is present.”

Winner of the 2012 Selah Award for best first novel The Other Side of Darkness/Harbourlight, Linda Wood Rondeau’s stories provide a wide assortment of unforgettable characters who journey paths not unlike our own, as in her best-selling Adirondack Christmas Romance, It Really IS a Wonderful Life/Lighthouse of the Carolinas 2012.
Rondeau is also the author of a popular devotional book, I Prayed for Patience God Gave Me Children/Helping Hands Press 2012.

A recent breast cancer survivor, Rondeau is now retired after a long career in human services and currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida where she continues to contribute a religious column for her Northern New York hometown newspaper, The Malone Telegram: This Daily Grind. While she misses the mountains from time to time, she does not miss the long winters. Florida living allows her to pursue her favorite hobby, golf, a subjected used in all her novels.

Upcoming releases include: A Christmas Prayer/Lighthouse of the Carolinas, Joy Comes to Dinsmore Street/Helping Hands Press, Songs in the Valley/Helping Hands Press, and a long short story, Jolly Angels/Helping Hands Press.

Readers may visit her web site at www.lindarondeau.com, email her at lindarondeau@gmail.com or find her on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Goodreads. She may follow her personal blog, This Daily Grind, which includes her cancer journey, or her multi-author blogs: Geezer Guys and Gals (for seniors written by seniors) and Life to the Fullest, based on John 10:10b.
