About: John Tomko

Born in Hawaii and raised in California and Missouri, John comes from a very diverse background. Traveling the United States with his family he is a modern day nomad.
John later began his ministry in the Coachella Valley of Southern California under the guidance of the Foursquare Church and the Calvary Chapel network. After his participation in the Festival of Life Crusade with Mike Macintosh he gained many friendships with surrounding church’s of different denominations. This gave him a vision to see the body of Christ united in mission to their own communities.
Soon after, the Lord sent him to South Korea and the Philippines on a seven month mission. During that time he was able to speak to hundreds of Koreans in different parts of their country for revival of the Korean church. John gained lasting friendships with Christian leaders, that he may continue missions in Korea and throughout Asia.
Now, the Holy Spirit has given John a huge vision of a non-denominational fellowship in America’s Home Town of Hannibal Missouri, and a Korea Mission Center to train those that are called to join him and others in The Great Commission at home and abroad.

On this edition of Alive in Christ Radio LIVE, we carry on with our discipleship series (Part 4). What is the difference between salvation and discipleship? How has what we have learned about Christianity and discipleship kept us from making more disciples? How might we get back to Christ now that we have traveled apart from His ways? How do we depart from the allure of this world and place our every step, thought, idea, and decision upon Christ?
It is our prayer that you be Spirit-filled and blessed by what you will discover on this unique edition of Alive in Christ Radio LIVE.
During these two hours, we will learn how God’s perfect love and faithfulness can help us walk hand-in-hand with God—leading us through this life into a life of total victory, in all things, through His anointing, discernment, and great comfort.
Special Guest: Danny Norman, Christian Music Artist & John Tomko, Pastor and Missionary
We round out our program with features including Joyce Meyer’s “Everyday Moments”, Focus on the family’s Plugged-In Movie Review and Focus on the Family Minute, Beth Moore’s “A Quick Word”, Luis Palau’s “Reaching Your World”, and Dave Ramsey’s “Daily Money Makeover.”
On this edition of Alive in Christ, Christian Discipleship Ministries’ Founder, Tony Marino and Lynn Kennedy explore life’s guidelines verses His “God-lines”, and will it be “your way”, or “Yahweh?” We invite you to join us.
On this episode we will learn to, “let go and let God.”

Alive in Christ Radio LIVE || In-Studio Guest: Danny Norman
Danny Norman is rapidly becoming one of America’s most beloved Christian Country singers and songwriters with his energetic and contagious enthusiastic style. Danny’s original material has set him apart in both Southern Gospel and Christian Country genres. From Carbondale, Illinois, he has shared the stage with “Gospel greats” like Jeff & Sheri Easter, the Lester’s, Brian Free & Assurance, the Bowlings, Crystal River and Gold City Quartet. His headlining events have brought him even more into the national eye with venues like “Hope For Kids Series Concerts, and the Indie Music Channel with Christopher Ewing.
Danny’s past successful projects include “The Promised Land,” of which six of the songs off this project were written by Danny himself in an attempt to bring a sense of sincerity to Southern and Christian Country. His music is true, real, and passionate. Every lyric comes from the heart and every note comes from deep down inside.
Several fortunate events led to Danny’s decision in packing up his dreams and recording at Daywind Studio in Hendersonville TN. Danny has had eight radio releases since January 2010, realizing successful airplay on both XM Satellite and FM radio formats.
Most recently, Danny continued to enlist Nashville music industry companies to enable him to gain more exposure on a national level. Some of the agencies are Catacomb Music, Spin-N-Motion, 371 Films, and EHA-Nashville. His latest video, “Reasons,” is produced by Kevin Hayes of 371 Films, directed by Scott Lucas of Catacomb, radio promoted by Toni and Kim Hudgins of Spin-N-Motion, and publicized through Nashville Publicist and Manager, Evie Hawkins, of EHA-Nashville. Scott Lucas and his daughter, Skyler, are actors in the film and Scott notes, “I believe that this video is going to touch so many lives and I look forward to hearing the stories that come in from people after they have viewed the ‘Reason’s’ music video.” Scott’s prediction came to pass; within 48 hours of its release the awe-inspiring project gained 25,000 downloads and continues to explode with new fans throughout the United States and abroad.

Alive in Christ Radio LIVE || Christian Book of the Week:
Author: James Robison and Jay W. Richards
Title: Indivisible: Restoring Faith, Family, and Freedom Before It’s Too Late
Description: Many books have been written on conservative politics. Many more have been written calling Christians to holiness and spiritual revival. Few, however, have managed to combine a clear explanation of the conservative political perspective with its corresponding personal and spiritual virtue.
In INDIVISIBLE, James Robison, the founder and president of LIFE Outreach International, partners with Jay Richards, Ph.D., a writer who has appeared in both the New York Times and The Washington Post. Together, they tackle tough, controversial political issues facing conservative Christians today, including abortion, stem cell research, education, economics, health care, the environment, judicial activism, marriage, and others. Written to appeal to a broad spectrum of believers, INDIVISIBLE not only argues political questions from a Scriptural standpoint, it also provides simple arguments that Christians can use to support their beliefs in public settings.
Most significantly, Robison and Richards recognize that the point of origin for spiritual and moral transformation is the individual. “We are convinced by historical precedent that long term cultural change requires not merely sound thinking and public good works but rather, God’s spiritual and moral transformation of us as individuals, which will then transform our churches, our communities, our culture, and ultimately our politics.”
James Robison is the founder and president of LIFE Outreach International, a worldwide Christian relief organization. He is also the host of LIFE Today, a daily syndicated television program that reaches 300 million homes in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia. He is the author of many books, including The Absolutes, True Prosperity, and Living in Love, and has spoken to millions of people through evangelistic crusades since entering public ministry in 1962.
Jay W. Richards, Ph.D., is a Senior Fellow at the Discovery Institute and the author of many books, including the award-winning Money, Greed, and God and The Privileged Planet. He is the executive director of the documentaries The Call of the Entrepreneur and The Birth of Freedom. He has been featured in the New York Times and the Washington Post and has appeared on Larry King Live. He has also lectured on economic myths to members of the U.S. Congress.
