Tim is a father, author, teacher, and speaker, whose life has become an example of God’s incredible depths of Grace. He is a contributing writer for various blogs and have a vision to impact all who have lost their balance on the beams of prosperity, power, and position. I know the intoxication of self indulgence and has lived under its power and control. Now free from the bondage of this addiction, he offers solutions to many of life’s toughest questions as he weaves through the tapestry of life through the stories he has had to live to teach.
He currently leads the information technology team at a Vermont based company that specializes in consulting services for the planning, analysis, and management of transportation, natural resources, technology, and business. He also serves on a team with Reach4Hope, a faith-based non-profit organization that reaches out to the homeless and needy in Concord, NH with a focus on meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those on the street.
Tim has also worked in the capacity of VP of Information Technology for a global provider of employer-sponsored child care, early education, and work/life solutions as well as other technology executive positions. He has served as council member for the CIO Executive Council, on the board for Nashua Children’s Learning Center and on a Work and Witness team to Panama. Tim has been quoted in CIO, Computer World, Information Security & CRN magazines and has published works on Servant Leadership, IT Innovation, and Vendor Relationships.

Shawn D. Savage is an ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Shawn is a retired veteran of the United States Air Force. As an ordained minister, Shawn believes that the Christian discipleship process is an ongoing process to the route of salvation. He believes that we are all Ministers and need to be Ambassadors for Christ Jesus.
Following the footsteps of Jesus Christ is not easy and only true Disciples of Christ have a chance when they allow the Holy Spirit to control their lives as they give their hearts to God. The ability to love God and our neighbors while forgiving them of their transgressions is to walk like Jesus. Our Lord will forgive us of our transgressions when we ask and give Him thanksgiving.

At this point in time, the believer receives new life and is “born again” and experiences what the Bible calls, redemption, reconciliation, and justification. God immediately and suddenly brings transformation into his or her life. However, the reality of discipleship is the growth of that new life which comes after the moment of salvation. Discipleship is a lifelong process of applying the gospel and the truth of the Word of God into the believer’s life, with the ultimate objective of becoming and being Christ-like every day. As you make your way through the Table of Contents, you will quickly discover that “The Discipling Church” is divided into two practical primary sections. Section One: A practical panoramic overview relative to the fundamental precepts of what discipleship is combined with why and how we, as Christians, must go and make disciples. This section was researched, developed, and written for those who are in church leadership, those who are the church (the Body of Christ), and those who are still Christ seekers. Section Two: An inspired collection of useful and timely discipleship tools, resources, and solutions. Upon reaching the completion of this book you will be equipped and have the necessary essentials to go forward with Jesus’ Great Commission: to make disciples. All misconceptions, confusions, rationalizations, and objections will have been addressed leaving you, the reader and learner, with one all-important, eternal question: Will you obey? Tom Blubaugh was raised in a small town in southeast KS. He began writing poetry at age fourteen. Tom has written nonfiction writer most of his adult life. He self-published his first book Behind the Scenes of the Bus Ministry in 1974. Tom wrote articles for denominational and business magazines from 1975 through 1995. He co-wrote The Great Adventure for Barbour Publishing Co. in 2009. Bound by Faith Publishers published his first fiction Night of the Cossack in April, 2011. Tom is married to Barbara. They have six children and fourteen grandchildren. Both are retired. Tom has been public speaker for 40 years. He was a self-employed entrepreneur from 1973 to 1995. Tom retired in 2004 and has devoted most of his time to writing and volunteer work.

Caroline R. Savage is an Ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She enjoys reading and writing inspirational poems. Jehovah God’s inspiration affords her the opportunity to write her first book ¿Uncertainties? And Reasoning. Caroline desires to share the Word of God and her poetry.
