Pastor Glen M. Copple has known Jesus all his life. He says he was “born and raised” going to church. Copple attended Bible College, but after a year transferred to secular studies, earning a degree in automotive technology. He found work in the auto industry unfulfilling and felt that God was calling out to him, so he went back to Bible College and a career in the ministry.
After three and a half years at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri, Glen M. Copple moved to California to lead a small church in Wasco, before moving to Torrance, near Los Angeles. “I believe that Jesus is the best role model we could ever seek to find. Everything Jesus did and experienced parallels something that you and I face in our lives as well.” This is Copple’s first of a 12-volume series on Getting to Know Jesus.

“I am a seeker, on a journey, seeking a more intimate relationship with God. As I seek, I find stories – stories that need to be told – messages of love from God directed through my words to be shared with the world. Each one is a challenge that I look forward to—studying the events of each century, finding a pivotal point in church history, doing the research, and watching the story idea fall into place,” she says.
She is currently working on the second book of the series. She explains, “This one is a bit more an adventure since the main events of the second century were the spread of the church throughout the Mediterranean, the spread of trade, the analyzing of the writings of the apostles and church leaders and the persecution of the Christians.”
