This is our second installment of our 9-part series investigating the second attribute of the Fruit of God’s Holy Spirit – joy (Galatians 5:22-23). We are yearning for joy, but the big question is: What is joy? How do we know when or if we find joy? Is there really such a thing as “true joy?” Are there different kinds of joy? Can joy evolve? Can joy slip away?
It is our prayer that you be Spirit-filled and blessed by what you will discover on this unique edition of Alive in Christ Radio LIVE.
During these two hours, we will learn how God’s perfect love and faithfulness can help us walk hand-in-hand with God—leading us through this life into a life of total victory, in all things, through His anointing, discernment, and great comfort.
Special Guest: Glen Copple, Christian Minister/Author
We round out our program with features including Joyce Meyer’s “Everyday Moments”, Dr. James Dobson’s “Family Talk”, Focus on the Family’s “Plugged-In Movie Review” and “Family Minute”, Beth Moore’s “A Quick Word”, Luis Palau’s “Reaching Your World”, and Dave Ramsey’s “Daily Money Makeover.”
On this episode we will learn to, “let go and let God.”
“The harvest is great, but the workers are few.” Matthew 9:37
Alive in Christ Radio LIVE || In-Studio Guest: Glen Copple
Pastor Glen M. Copple has known Jesus all his life. He says he was “born and raised” going to church. Copple attended Bible College, but after a year transferred to secular studies, earning a degree in automotive technology. He found work in the auto industry unfulfilling and felt that God was calling out to him, so he went back to Bible College and a career in the ministry.
After three and a half years at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri, Glen M. Copple moved to California to lead a small church in Wasco, before moving to Torrance, near Los Angeles. “I believe that Jesus is the best role model we could ever seek to find. Everything Jesus did and experienced parallels something that you and I face in our lives as well.” This is Copple’s first of a 12-volume series on Getting to Know Jesus.

Title: Getting to Know Jesus: Volume One
Description: What Others Are Saying… “Getting To Know Jesus highlights every event in Christ’s life using both thought-provoking commentary and a harmony of the gospel accounts. Forget laying out all of the resources you have side by side, if you really want to really get to know Jesus, this one will take you there.” – Dr. Woodrow Kroll, Back to the Bible International “It is Bible based. Each lesson focuses on related passages of scripture that illustrate a Biblical principle from the life and teaching of Jesus. It engages the student with questions and…discussion of the scripture. It’s creative, enabling the student to grasp and internalize the topic. It is practical. How else can we expect our students to change their lives and change the culture? I recommend Getting To Know Jesus because it helps the participant get to know Jesus in a way that is life changing, church changing and culture changing.” – Bob Russell, Senior Minister and author “…This excellent work on the life of Christ will make an impact on anyone who goes through these Bible studies. I encourage everyone not to pass up this opportunity for spiritual growth. I look forward to using this material in my church.” -Jimmy Chaney, Church of the Beach Cities, Manhattan Beach, CA “The Getting To Know Jesus Bible study series is Biblically based. The format is clear, easy to follow. The student is able to draw his/her own conclusions within Biblical context.” – Joe Grana, D. Min., Hope International University
