Dr. John Vawter spent 10 years on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ in both England and the Northwest as Area Director. He was the pastor at Wayzata Evangelical Free Church in the suburbs of Minneapolis for fourteen years and Bethany Community Church in Tempe, AZ. He was the president of Phoenix Seminary in Phoenix and Western Seminary in Portland, OR. He has taught doctoral courses in six different seminaries and spoken in seventeen countries. His two previous books include Uncommon Graces, which was nominated for the Gold Medallion Award and Hit by a Ton of Bricks; You’re Not Alone When Your Child’s on Drugs. The latter book grew out of the ministry his wife and he founded called You’re Not Alone, Inc. a non-profit ministry aimed at helping parents who discover their children are abusing alcohol and other drugs. Dr. James Wetherbe is a highly regarded professor, author and consultant in management of information technology. He has spent over 40 years in academia and industry, serving on the faculty of the University of Houston, University of Minnesota, University of Memphis and Texas Tech University.
